If you are a blogger, make sure you have posted some content on your blog. For example, if you have published 30 articles on your blog and are updating one article per day, you will have completed it within 30 days if you update your old content daily. If you plan to update your existing content, it is good for you.
Whenever you plan to update your content, please focus on your meta title, meta description, and content images because when you have such type of content in your blog, after Google crawls your blog one more time, it can be a chance to rank your website on the first page.
You only need to spend 20 minutes updating your blog and optimizing your content.
Do Your Keyword Research
As you know, there are many keywords tool available in the market. Still, as per my experience, I recommend using Ahrefs and Google keyword planners because I will give you perfect data, and both mostly use content marketing and bloggers to find low-value keywords.
So whenever you want, go with Ahrefs, find difficult keywords related to your business or blog, and list them in your database; then, you need to plan out what to write.
Work on a Course/Read up on Free Content
See, if you are a blogger, then you need to learn everything about SEO, and also you need to up to update your blog; you need to learn every day new because Google has updated everything something new. As per my experience, I have updated myself every day.
In my routine, I have given myself to 1 horse to learn something new daily because it is very helpful for my blog.
Suppose you want to become a professional blogger and purchase the premium course for advanced learning. In that case, you can go ahead with a premium course because many online courses are available in the market.
Engage Briefly on Social Media
As a blogger, make sure you have created all social media profiles for your blogging website because I am using many social media platforms such as Pinterest, LinkedIn, and Facebook to get high traffic from social media profiles. As per my knowledge and experience, social media platforms are very helpful for getting a social signal and engaging with a targeted audience.
In my case, I am using LinkedIn and Facebook because there are many of my targeted audience. I get positive responses from my users.

Check And Reply to Emails
Ensure your blog has an email subscription because it will gather all email details of your targeted audience when users visit your website blog and connect with you and ask questions.
Again, give 30 minutes for an email check because it is a very important part of email marketing.
So I suggest you reply to each email question answer and fix your audience’s problem because it will build trust in the eyes of the audience.
Weekly Blogging Tasks
This is my favorite task in my routine because, you know, many bloggers are doing a job, and they don’t have time to do the daily tasks, so they will work every week on this. I also do the same things. Below, I have listed my weekly blogging task, and I am sure it will help you achieve your goal.
Write a New Blog Post
If you don’t have one per day, then you can schedule your plan to write one blog post each week because I can understand if you are doing a job, then you don’t have enough time to write each day blog.
Because I am doing the same thing in my routine, I have to plan long-form content, so I take at least four days to write one article. That article is very useful and informative, so if you take a long time, it means if you take one week to write one blog, then make sure your blog is informative and user-friendly.
I also added the video’s embed code to my blog because it will help make it more user-friendly and informative. When you plan to write an informative blog, divide your task, like planning out content, images, videos, and infographics, because I will help you make it more interesting and user-friendly.Â

Do an SEO Audit
I am doing an SEO audit of my blog each weekend because when you audit your blog, you know what needs to be done, and if there are any technical issues in a blog, then you solve them.
I have practice auditing my content each weekend, and I spend a lot of time, like 2 to 3 hours a week.
Fill Up IFTTT
I recommend using Pinterest because this is the only platform where you can get organic traffic to your blog.
If you don’t have enough time to post regularly, I recommend you use a third-party tool such as IFTTT; for me, it is the best tool for scheduling all your content on Pinterest.
Track your Google Analytics
Yes, Tracking your Google Analytics in a week is very important. Once you have checked google analytics, you can know which part needs to improve and which pages have high traffic so you can plan accordingly.
As per my suggestion, please set your time to track your report in-depth and check the bounce rate because it helps you know how much time users spend on your blog. If your blog bounce rate is high, you need to update your content to be more user-friendly and informative so users can stay on your blog.
Track Your Income and Expenses for the Month
If you are a business blogger, then make sure to track your income and expenses. It is very important to know about your income. So I recommend tracking your income in a month.
Schedule Social Media Posts
IFTTT was my first option when I thought about scheduling my post on all social media platforms because, in IFTTT, you can schedule in various social media profiles such as Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Facebook Group, and many others.
Once you have scheduled all your content in IFTTT, you are free to focus on your content.
Make Video Content
This activity is very important in my blogging career because it will help me engage with your targeted audience, so users can easily understand the content you know many want to listen to and watch videos to better understand.
So I suggest you create a YouTube channel or other video platforms and spend at least 3 hours daily on video creation. Video content is more helpful than long because many people don’t read your long article. They way too find short forms that they can easily understand.
If you are not comfortable with YouTube or other video websites, then create Instagram reels, Instagram live sessions, and Facebook live to connect with your audience.
Optimize Your Resource Library
If you have a resource library, then you should update your library each week. For resources, you can use many tools, such as Mailchimp, and many other tools are available so you can use.
I have used Mailchimp because it allows me to store all my resource email IDs in my MailChimp account, which can help me to get my targeted audience.
Back up Your Blog
I use Hostinger service, where I get daily backup plans for my blog content, and I think this is very important for bloggers because you work hard to write better content, and think, if your server or database crashes, what happens?
In case you have to use a better hosting provider where you will have a daily backup plan for your blog.
You can also use a plugin to help you back up your content; in my order, I used “Duplicator Pro.” It is paid service, but it is good for me.
Apply to Affiliate Programs
If you are a blogger, you should start an affiliate program because it is one of the best options to earn money online.
Unfortunately, I do not run any affiliate program in my blog, but if you want to earn money from an affiliate, you can go with an affiliate program. Many companies provide affiliates, so you must sign up and follow their guidelines. After that, you can start earning money.
Reply to Blog Comments
I have a daily reply in my blog comment because it helps me build trust for my audience and solve their problems.
It is very important because once you reply to blog comments daily, it will become trustworthy for your audience.
If you don’t have time each day, you schedule your time in a week to solve your audience problem.
Visit other Blogs
As a professional blogger, I used to visit new blogs to learn about blogging, and it helped me learn plenty of scopes to learn writing style and blog format; I learned from there then I will improve my blog.
As a blogger, it is a very time-consuming task, so I suggest you schedule it accordingly.
Plan for the Week Ahead
I have always planned to work on my blogging website, so I recommend you to set your plan as per your timetable because plan out you cannot do it properly.
In my case, I used only Sunday to execute my plan, and I am doing it accordingly. If you have a plan to work, it will become easier to manage your blog.
Monthly Blogging Tasks
What you need to do in a month as a blogger is to improve your blogging skills. Don’t worry. Below I have listed a few monthly tasks you need to work on.
Update or Delete Plugins
As a blogger, we have to install many plugins in our blogging website because it can help me to cover lots of time and it helps me to manage easily.
Check monthly about a plugin that you have installed on your website. In a month, check for updates or if there is a need to delete any unnecessary plugins.
Check if there is a need to update your WordPress version.
Track Goals
Set a goal in your blogging task because It is very important for us. So the first thing you need to do is create a monthly strategy and work on it. After the end of the month, track your report on what’s going on as per strategy. If your strategy does not work properly, then you can change your strategy. That’s why you need to create goals and track them.
Review Content/Social/Email Strategy
As a blogger, you need to be very clear about one thing if your strategy is not working properly, then you need to change your strategy.
In a week, you need to review your content and social media strategy because if your strategy does not work, then please change your strategy.
You know there are many opportunities in a blogging career if you do it properly.
